Outreach and Education

AMRG provides a variety of outreach and educational services, to community groups, government organizations, and law enforcement agencies. Our programs include:

  • Hug-A-Tree and Survive Education Programs for elementary school age children
  • Search Dog Demonstrations and Meet-and-Greets
  • Search and Rescue Classes, from introductory trainings to advanced speciality topics
  • Wilderness First Aid Classes
  • Medical Standby Teams for Events, such as adventure races
  • Missing Person Response Planning for Communities and Police Departments
  • Parades, Fairs, and Other Special Events

Most outreach and educational services are provided at no cost, though donations are welcome. There may be costs associated with formal classes, such as Wilderness First Aid.

AMRG never charges law enforcement agencies, government organizations, or subjects for any of our emergency services. We are 100% volunteer, non-profit, and do not charge for search or rescue services.
